Some of these activities can be seen in the camp photographs under "Pics" above.  Click on the photos below to see an enlarged photo.

There are two levels with trap door, rope pulley, pirate flag, trinkets, lighting, stereo and fridge.  It has a Plexiglas roof for star gazing during sleep overs and a tremendous view of the valley from the second floor balcony.  Adults are welcome.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

Here you can test your skills and balance on walking across this rope bridge.  It looks easier than it is and is always a surprise the first time a child gets on it.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

Pitching machine can pitch curves, sliders and fast balls up to 90mph.  An adult or a Cooley boy is needed to feed the machine and use it properly.  Click on image to open a larger pic it may open in a separate window.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

Hockey Rink - This rink uses artificial ice and real ice skates.  Bring yours or use some of the skates we have.  Kids can also play in sneakers (seems to happen more often).  We have extra hockey sticks and equipment.

Great for all ages and levels.  There are over 150 hand holds and they are on the logs as well.

Climb the logs and slide down the pole.

Kids love this one but don’t let go.  It is a quick wheeeee - and scary the first time but fun and screams after that.

This is for adults and teenagers.  It's fast and long and comes to a very fast stop at the end - it can throw you off.  My nine year-old uses it but I'm weary with kids 9-12 using it.  12 and up is the rule.

Climb the logs, across the cargo net and down the fast slide.

An "old timer" that is always fun.  The larger one is the most popular activity.  Start at the lower steps and work your way to the top.  Also try climbing up the 30’ rope to ring the bell!  Please stay off the round rocks.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

There are two climbing ropes to challenge the kids.  The easier one has knots to help.  The larger one (same rope used for the swing) has a bell at the top.  Ring it if you can!

This is a 50 foot tunnel made of cement tubes.  It ends with a trap door coming up out of the ground.  Spooky to say the least.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

A 200 foot rope up the mountainside allows the child to scale the mountain.  Don’t let go of the rope and watch for falling rocks.  One at a time only.  Make sure no one is below you when climbing.

Yes horse shoes - as old as the hills.  These are available in the batting cage.

We’ll bring out a long thick rope to challenge any two teams.  Always fun with lots of noise as each team tries to pull the other over the line.1

These are somewhat known for injuries and almost all are caused by more than one kid jumping together and then colliding.  It’s up to the parents to determine if they will allow their children to play on it if another one is already using it.  We say don't allow more than one child at a time.  There is a safety net around the Trampoline.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

Just like at the school yards without the pavement.  Bet the kids and beat the parents.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

The younger kids just love to throw rocks in the pond.  It’s fine with me as I just scoop them all out every few months with the tractor and put them back on the side.  Look for the water creatures in the pond such as salamanders and nutes.  Test your balance on the log bridge used to access the mountain climb and the haunted forest.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

We offer nighttime movies on a 16 foot wide screen complete with a surround sound system.  Not used for every party.  Bring a sleeping bag or blanket for the kids as they will lay on a tarp to watch the movie.  The nights are typically somewhat chilly.  The adults typically sit around the camp fire on the upwind side.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

This plastic spring loaded device is fun for the younger ones up to 60 lbs.

This is a half mile hike up the creek with several challenging spots.  Shoes are a must and you can expect to get them wet.  Often, a night hike is a thrill for just after the movie.  Kids may explore it but a parent should be with them.  Be careful of the poison oak up on the sides.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

Climb the logs and then climb the net for a great view of the camp.

My one regret in purchasing.  Rarely used by the kids except for the youngest.  See the picture at the top (heading) of this page.

Climb the rock wall.  Add climbing skills to your entertainment activity.  A challenge for all.

Fun for the little ones.

Kids love to walk on top of these as they roll along the ground.  This takes some skill to learn and isn’t easy.  There are two sizes to match the size of the person.

There are two of these.  The first is by the fire pit and is challenging to climb to the top.  The other is on the hillside above the rope bridge – look for the notches on the uphill side to help climb it.

It is 28 feet long and 8 feet wide.  Helmet and pads required.  Skateboarding experience is a must. Great for the teens.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

For evening activities a camp fire and benches keeps everyone warm.  It’s also ideal for s’mores and just roasting marshmallows.  We provide the marshmallow roasting sticks and usually the goodies.  Stories and jokes abound.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

These are brought out for most parties and managed by the beautiful camp cook.  Popcorn and the movies - doesn't get better than this.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

Camp Cooley offers a propane BBQ, large kitchen sink, microwave and refrigerators for all the party needs.  We also have a variety of plastic ware and paper products.  Guests can bring food to grill and bring side dishes.  The outdoor kitchen can be used to prepare them.  Click on picture for enlarged view.

We’ll bring this out for the older kids but this must be done ½ hour before the event starts.  The driveway is required for its use which later becomes filled with cars.  Coordinate this with me.

Just ask me to give a tractor ride to the little ones.  It depends on the function if it’s feasible to do so.
