The most important rule is to maintain only one child to a play structure at a time. This is especially important for the Log Climb/Slide, Rope Bridge, Cable Slide, Pongo Plastic Jumper, Rope Swing, Pond Bridge and Rope Mountain Climb (above pond). Climbing up the mountain side using the knotted rope does create falling rocks which could injure someone below.
Keep children away from pond area when the Rope Mountain Climb is being used. Rope Mountain Climb is recommended for 7 and older. The Tree House and Redwood Play structure is limited to 10 kids.
Ask me for assistance if you wish to use the batting cage.
Parents must always watch their children and should guide them in learning their limits and abilities.
This is a place to use at your own risk. This is a natural area where I’ve used natural resources for most of the structures. Injuries can and do occur though to date, they have just been scrapes and bruises. You are asked to watch your kids as this is not something that we will do for you.
Restrooms are available in the house – enter the first door and bathrooms are both to the right in the guest room and to the left in the hallway. There is a water fountain by the entrance to the Tree house or you are welcome to bring bottled water if desired. Please encourage the kids to pick up all their trash and to leave the camp as they found it (if not a little bit better).
Camp Cooley is for Fun and to challenge the younger ones to use their minds and bodies to overcome their fears of doing things they may have never done before.
